Back at it!

I've nearly forgotten about blogging, as I've also been a classroom teacher for 3rd grade the last couple of years. It's been a balancing act. So now that it is summer and I've had time to get back to knitting, I figured I should start this blog back up as well.

Here are a couple baby blankets that I have worked on this last month. I really am excited about them and cannot wait to gift them to a couple baby girls arriving soon:

The first was knit in a flat panel on the green knifty knitter long loom. I used a basic e-wrap with two yarns working as one. I then added a crocheted, shell scalloped border.

The second blanket was made by using the Diagonal Baby Blanket pattern from Lion Brand yarns and the Martha Stewart loom. I love the diagonal pattern made from knitting corner to corner. It was a lot of fun.
